Pinocchio Restaurant is the oldest Italian restaurant in Konstanz. Wonderful environment, delicious menus, and great service.
Extremely delicious food nice and clean restaurant. Very friendly staff. Be sure to try the truffle raviolie.
Always a pleasure ...
Fantastic food with fantastic wines is an indispensable part of Constance. You should definitely try it once.
Rather inconspicuous from the outside, the inside hides a nicely furnished vault with a Mediterranean flair. We enjoyed classic Italian cuisine, we highly recommend the osso buco with great risotto and the fresh ravioli with truffle sauce. The nice service also had the right wine recommendation. We would love to come back and were very satisfied!
The Pinocchio is located in Untere Laube, in 78462 Konstanz. In this respect, the elegant Italian restaurant is known and loved for its Tuscan specialties. In addition, the ambience is very pleasant. I had a nice beer on my last stay. In addition, a lamb chop was eaten. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful and very valuable. I am happy to recommend this excellent address to others.
Nice ambience. Delicious meals. The price-performance ratio is also good. Unfortunately the waiters don't see empty glasses. The beverage sales can be expanded.
Very friendly service, very good food, always worth a visit!
First class Italian cuisine. Nice staff and quiet location although central.
The best restaurant in the area you are the best good and congratulations a big greeting to Maurizio and the legendary olivia
Excellent cuisine, great owners! Until next time!
Everything perfect, I haven't had an experience like this for a long time. Great service, perfect food, excellent wine, I'll definitely be back.
Great food. Very Delicious. Sadly the outdoor ambiente is not that inviting. Nevertheless, the staff and the food are great!
Even if the ratings of the "gourmet" from last year, the Pinocchio has lost nothing of its shine. The restaurant itself is typically "small" in Italian and the garden courtyard, as in southern Italy. The name "Pinocchio" does not really suit this extraordinary Italian cuisine, it is rather what a pizzeria. The waiters in their black and white liveried suits understand their craft and skillfully present their dishes to you. The menu with fish and meat very well balanced and nothing of the uniformity adapted to German conditions that is otherwise offered by some "wannabe Italians". The wine list very well stocked with good not too expensive wines. Even the 'vino della casa' is drinkable and which Italian can say that. The lasagna or the tagliatelle di ragout exude a smell that is reminiscent of the chants of the marketers at the time of the Council "come in and eat fine". The seafood is a poem. The "Tonno" very fine and fresh. "Lo chef" a connoisseur of the sea kitchen. The food was a glamorous synod that would have honored the Constance Council. This is how the Popes ate. Then the "tris di dolci", such passion for desserts is reflected in the excellent cafe. Mille Grazie "lo chef di Pinocchio", for me "The Italian Ristorante" in Constance. Bravo.
We went to this restaurant with great expectations, as it has been highly praised quite often. But unfortunately we can only confirm the critical reviews that attest the restaurant a poor price-performance ratio. The interior of the restaurant is very classy and the ambience is very nice. The tables are nicely set and make an inviting impression. But we had a table outside due to the nice weather. It is the complete opposite of the interior. You think you are in a cheap beer garden, the tables are not set, the seating is cheap hardware store furniture scrap, and the walls and everything around remind you more of a beer garden around the corner than of a noble Italian. The service is very positive. The waiters went out of their way to balance the cheap ambience outside. A look at the drinks menu reveals that gastronomy should be celebrated at the highest level. A glass of Prosecco costs € 10 and the entire bottle is available for € 67. It's pretty steep! And of course the expectations are correspondingly high. This continues with the dishes. The starters were very expensive, but could not live up to our expectations of high quality. The main courses were between € 20 and € 30, so you could expect very good quality. Unfortunately we were disappointed. It was just mediocrity that any other Italian could do better at much lower prices. There is a lot of appearance but little being here. Instead of culinary finesse, culinary tristesse awaits you here. Please do not get this wrong. The food was good, you could eat it well, but for the price you just expect a lot more
Delicious food and great atmosphere. Always temporary changing menu selection and matching wines.
The best Italian in Constance. Very nice and attentive staff. The quality of the dishes is great, the ravioli with truffle filling should be emphasized. Lonely tip.
Rather high in price. Food very good.
Cozy pizzeria, friendly staff. Competent advice on wine selection, food very tasty and deliciously prepared. Always my pleasure. Good and healthy lunch menu selection.
Great Italian restaurant
Try the lasagna. Only issue is they give you a lot of grief about reservations even for lunch, when no one else is in the place.
Amazing food! Really! Staff is super and kind!
The location is very pretty, elegant and clean. The service is extremely kind, polite and sunny. The food, all home made, is very good and looks good on serving dishes. The meat is tender and succulent and goes well with delicate and abundant side dishes. The desserts are also home-made and treated in detail. The costs are not too high and the price quality is excellent. Excellent wines, acceptable coffee. At the end of the dinner they offered us the bitters.
We had a realy nice time there. Had a delicius food a damn good wine. ;) It was months ago and we still talk about it.
A very nice place. Food was delicious and staff was attentive and friendly.
Excellent team! Very accommodating and always on the spot. The food was fantastic!
Food of reasonable quality but service off and lacked engagement with the customer Good atmosphere, satisfied customers, but long delays queried to no satisfaction
Very Italianish place...All food has same taste as in Rome.
Food is good. Too expensive though.
The best Italian restaurant in Konstantz
Excellent service, a welcoming place where you feel immediately in Italy. Excellent Italian dishes. Very good quality-price ratio. To come back with pleasure.
Our first experience was good. However, our second time there was terrible. Warm red wine, frozen lasagna without sauce enough, medium rare meat rather than medium well as we ordered, and friendly but ineffective service.
Top
lovely lunch
Our experience was terrible. We came for a daily menu. The weiter was very unfriendly and unhelpful. Couvert came just about 5 mins before main dish even though tables what arrived after us had it immediately. We ordered pasta and fish and waited for almost 50mins to get it. When food came we got a different food. I had to return my fish as it was salty and with no taste just salt. My college waited for her right order other 25 mins. When it came to payment no one has warned us that the card terminal doesnt work. We didnt have any cash with just CHF. Our bill will be sent to our address afterwards. I would not recommend to visit this restaurant during the lunch for a quick daily menu as we spent over 90 mins waiting for something what doesnt taste any special and we were very disappointed.
Upscale Italian restaurant. No pizza. Good wines.
Ok
We had a very nice time there. The lady who runs the restaurant is super kind and welcoming. Unfortunately we need to say that the ossobuco was a little bit cold and the fish dish came together with plain pasta, which was not stated in the menu. A choice I wouldn't have done. I must say that she offered to replace it with something else.
I think this is the best "real" italian restaurant in Konstanz. The only problem here: the price. One day we had a reservation, came there 5 minutes early but our table was not free. So they gave us a bottle of prosecco and we waited for the table. Food here is really really good.. they have specials sometimes.. like original bistecca fiorentina. But like i said, quite expensive. After the dinner you can have a grappa.. from 4 € up to over 50 € for one glass.
